A Visit to the National Gallery, London
221B Baker Street, London
THE SHERLOCK HOLMES MUSEUM
A step back in time to see where and how Holmes and Watson 'lived' |
According to the stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John H. Watson lived at 221b Baker Street between 1881-1904. The 1st floor study overlooking Baker Street is still faithfully maintained for posterity as it was kept in Victorian Times.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?
"You will not apply my precept," he said, shaking his head. "How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth? We know that he did not come through the door, the window, or the chimney. We also know that he could not have been concealed in the room, as there is no concealment possible. When, then, did he come?"

Contextual Influences in Art & Design (Unit 5)
From 7/1/13 -Started to research artists who's work I saw at Manchester Art Gallery in The First Cut Exhibition.
I then researched my research to make certain I had enough information about them to create my essay and sketchbook.

Selected 2 images of what I liked or thought about them and why I think their art work is brilliant.
Started mind maps for each artist in my sketchbook and compared the artists' work with each other
